What is the Eternal Weekend EU?

The Eternal Weekend EU is the official Wizards of the Coast annual event dedicated to all Eternal formats of Magic: the Gathering. This year for the first time it will be hosted in Italy and it will include 4 days of tournaments and activities.

Where and when is the Eternal Weekend EU happening?

The Eternal Weekend EU will take place at Polo Fiere in Lucca, Italy (link) on November 27th-30th 2025.

When will online registrations open and when will they close?

#

Online registrations will open on September 25th at 9.00 am CEST and will close on November 25th at 9.00 am CET.

Can I get any benefit if I register online?

#

Yes, all online registrations entered before November 25th will benefit from the Early Bird discount of 25 euro for all the Main Events.

Can I also register on site?

#

Of course, but there will be no Early Bird benefit for on site registrations and the registration costs will be for the full price. Please, remember that we cannot guarantee infinite space for playing, so events may sell out before the start of the Eternal Weekend.

What are the different types of Championship Bundles and what do I get by buying them?

There are three different bundles: BASIC (75 euro): registration to a Championship event and a Basic Playmat (different art depending on the Championship); EXPERIENCE (150 euro): registration to a Championship, a Basic Playmat (different art depending on the Championship), a Premium Playmat Exclusive Original Art by Domenico Cava (same art for both Championships and Bundle ), a bag with exclusive Eternal Weekend EU goodies and more gadgets; MANIAC (200 euro): registration to a Championship, a Basic Playmat (different art depending on the Championship), a Premium Playmat Exclusive Original Art by Domenico Cava (same art for both Championships and Bundle ), a bag with exclusive Eternal Weekend EU goodies and more gadgets, 1 Paid 20Euros Event entry, 1 Paid 40Euros Event entry.

I bought a bundle, how do I register for the other included events?

You will be able to go to the access point to collect your bag, and if you have purchased the Maniac bundle you will also receive a Special Badge that will allow you to register on site free of charge for the other 2 events (20 and 40 euros) of your choice.

What payment methods can I use to pay on site?

#

You can pay as you prefer: Cash, PayPal, Credit Card, or using the Tix won at various events.

Unfortunately I cannot attend the Eternal Weekend anymore. Can I get a refund for my registration?

#

Yes, we can process full refunds if you cancel your registration before November 26th and 50% Refunds after this deadline. To ask for a refund write us at request.refund@4seasonstournaments.com.

What kind of prizes can I win during the weekend?

#

At the Vintage and the Legacy Championships you can win unique official promos! The winners of the Eternal Weekend Europe Vintage and Legacy Championships will also receive a framed oversized Trinisphere / Tendrils of Agony card. This prize will feature the artwork printed on metal embedded in the oversized card frame to give the artwork a foil-like shine. All other prizes will be given in the form of Tix.

What are the official promos for the Legacy and Vintage Championship?

The Vintage Championship promo will be a special unique Trinisphere foil the top8 and regular for top32. The Legacy Championship promo will be a special unique Tendrils of Agony foil for Top8 and regular for top32.

How can I use the Tix?

#

Tix will be your local currency at the Eternal Weekend, you will able to use them at the Prize Wall for purchasing: Special prizes from the Prize Wall Coupons for any of the Official Vendors of the event; Support the Artists for signatures, artworks and their official products; Pay for Registrations to Events; Food Tokens to buy food and drinks at the Food Court.

Will there be any artists at the Eternal Weekend?

Of course yes, it wouldn't be an Eternal Weekend without artists.They will be announced soon.

What tournaments can I play during the Eternal Weekend?

#

You can play multiple competitive Main Events of all Eternal formats (e.g. Legacy, Vintage, Old School, Pre-Modern, Pauper) and special guest formats (e.g. Modern). Each of them will include a top8 to determine the champion of the Eternal Weekend. You can qualify at the next Regional Championship by playing at any of our three Destination Qualifiers, bolstering a grand total of 16 invitations! You can practice your favorite Eternal formats every day at our competitive Side Events or at our regular Challenge Events for more relaxed and social games. Or join any of our On Demand Events, including some amazing and unique Chaos Drafts from the past! You can also join the Commander area to enjoy your decks in multiplayer games. What is a Challenge Event?

#

Challenges are 3-round tournaments, in the format listed in the event name. Prizes will be awarded based on the number of matches won.

What is a Trial Event?

#

These are 16-player, 3-round single-elimination tournaments, where in addition to tix based on victories, players will be able to also win 1 bye for the Main Event of the same format.

How many Byes a player can collect?

#

Only 1 Bye per Player per Event

What is a Team Trios?

#

In a Team Trios Constructed event, players play decks from three different formats, and face players from other teams playing the same format. Thursday formats will be Legacy, Vintage and Pauper.

What is a Pauper Team Trios?

#

Unlike classic Team Trios events, all players will play Pauper decks, with deck construction rules (https://blogs.magicjudges.org/rules/mtr8-4/) As part of the prize there will also be the qualification to Paupergeddon

What is a Paupergeddon?

#

These are major community-driven Pauper tournaments organized by Boose MTG and Lega Pauper Italia (LPI), known for attracting a large number of players (often 700-800 per event).

What is Command Zone?

#

With 10Euro fee you get the access to the special zone and a promo. Play as you want, the Bracket you want. Table will be divided by bracket and format

Why do you have events spanning on multiple days?

#

The Legacy Championship and the Paupergeddon will be held in 2 days, in order to allow players to rest in some very long and intense events. On the first day you can play 8 Swiss rounds and all players with at least 18 points will be qualified to day 2, to be played on the following day. On day 2, if qualified, you will play 6 additional Swiss rounds and then the top8 to determine the champions.

If I qualify to a day2 and I’ve already registered for another event for that day, can I get a refund?

Yes, all players qualified to a day2 event can get a full refund, minus processing fees.

Do I have to pay to enter the Eternal Weekend venue?

#

No, access to the venue is free. Tickets are available for playing in the tournaments.

How long can I stay in the Eternal Weekend venue?

#

You are welcome to stay with us during the Hall Hours (Thursday 12:00-24:00 and Friday to Sunday 08:30-24:00).

What is Eternal Night?

#

It's the best choice of how to spend the evening during the Eternal Weekend: drinks, good food and tournaments will be ready for you from 7pm to midnight.

Do you have a free play area?

#

Yes, we invite all Magic enthusiasts to come and join the Eternal Weekend!

Can I bring my kids to the event?

#

Yes, we’ll be happy to have your kids at the Eternal Weekend so that they can be introduced to the eternal formats! Please remember that all minors need to be supervised by an adult.

Do you have a Coverage for the event?

#

Yes, we will have streaming coverage for the Championships and the Paupergeddon (available on Twitch https://www.twitch.tv/4seasonstournaments) and full social media coverage for all activities of the Eternal Weekend (https://x.com/4Tournaments).

Who are the Official Vendors at the Eternal Weekend?

The Official Vendors will be announced in this page (inserire link).

Can I sell my cards during the Eternal Weekend?

#

Yes, you can sell your cards to the Official Vendors. You can only trade with other players, no selling and buying among players will be possible.

Can I park my car at the tournament venue?

#

Yes, there are plenty of parking options at the venue and they are available for free during the entire Eternal Weekend. (inserire mappa parcheggi?)

Will there be a dining area at the tournament?

#

Of course, from morning until evening you'll find a full food court with a wide variety of local and international options for food and drink, including vegan and gluten-free options.
